The State Security Service warns about fake social network accounts

Recently, a number of fake pages and profiles created on behalf of the State Security Service (SSS) have been identified on some social networking platforms. The existence of such cases leads many users to accept these accounts as an official source, and as a result, the materials posted on these social networking resources are perceived as the publication belonging to SSS.

We would like to note that SSS's maintains “https://www.dtx.gov.az/az”  website and pages and channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube social networks, which are “https://www.facebook.com/DTXAzerbaijan”, “https://twitter.com/DTX_Azerbaijan”, “https://www.instagram.com/dtx_azerbaijan/”, “https://www.youtube.com/c/DTXofficialchannel/” accordingly. SSS information is posted only on these sources. We would also like to emphasize that the official pages of SSS on social networks are issued by the administrations of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube and have an affirmative mark confirming the officiality of these resources.

In addition, we would like to inform you that there is no profile or account on social networks belonging to the administrative staff of SSS.

We bring to the attention of our citizens and the media that information on the activities of SSS should be obtained only from above-mentioned official internet resources of SSS.
